My first guess would be that his Grace is burning out, simply from how long he's been away from Heaven. Without seeing him myself, though, it's nothing more than conjecture.

I don't know. Sometimes I can do things. With my voice. But it's not-

I fixed a boy once. He was crazy, and he heard me scream, and then he wasn't. But I killed something, too. Castiel won't talk to me about it.
